Location: Helsingborg or Ljungsbro (outside of Linköping)
Objective: Today we use accelerated shelf life tests for candy, chocolate and chewing gum. To check stability of the product and to be used when defining real shelf life. The aim with this project is to find a procedure to do accelerated shelf life tests for our nut category.
Method: Review and analyze available information. Define and perform storage tests with selected products at appropriate climate. Evaluate which parameters that are useful for an accelerated shelf test. Sensory and relevant chemical analysis to be made. Questions to answer:
Key output: Summary of result from information review and storage tests. Recommendation how to perform accelerated shelf life test for our nut category. If necessary to take further steps, a recommendation of extended storage tests to confirm or improve learnings.
